I joined Carole MacNeil to talk through Stephen Hawking’s legacy following his passing. It was an honour to discuss what his work meant for the scientific community and the world more broadly.
This was my first time on live television! I was quite nervous! All I knew is that I wanted to speak to Professor Hawking’s influence on two communities I am part of. He was a world-class physicist with a storied career. He was also a role model for academics who strive to communicate complex research to the public. To top it all off, he had a great sense of humour!
